The SHADOW is a minimal backpack well equipped for modern life. This clean and functional pack is designed to fit your life while protecting your essentials. YKK Aquaguard zippers and our proprietary bond-stitch construction keep your gear dry. The SHADOW is crafted from the new CORDURA® re/cor™ RN66.

The SHADOW's back panel independently flexes to match the shape of your back. There's an air-flow channel for ventilation, with an integrated luggage strap. Our ergonomic shoulder straps are designed for all day comfort, no matter what you carry, and they can easily be stowed for a clean professional look.

In the fast access pocket, your phone is charging. Your keys, wallet, and more are easily accessible. The SHADOW unzips completely with everything laid out in front of you. Inside, you'll find suspended laptop and tablet sleeves, durable mesh pockets and a water bottle pocket. Grab the magnetic buckle to release the built-in Tech-Kit. With six separate pockets the Tech-Kit keeps you organized. Our laser-etched hypalon zipper-pulls lock together with a snap.

Black Ember is proud to be the world's first brand to collaborate with CORDURA® Advanced Fabrics on the launch of its new CORDURA® re/cor™ RN66 collection. It is the first 100% recycled nylon 6,6 textile from CORDURA®.

When compared to virgin N6,6 production CORDURA® re/cor™ RN66 produces 83% fewer GHG emissions, consumes 82% less energy and uses 57% less water.

The CORDURA® re/cor™ RN66 refers to recycled Nylon 6,6. That 6,6 rating means it's a high tenacity nylon and that it is ultra-durable. CORDURA® re/cor™ RN66 has passed the brutal barrage of tests that make a woven nylon CORDURA® brand certified.

All Black Ember products are made using our BOND-STITCH high-precision construction. All textile components are laser-cut for precise assembly. This construction yields a super durable, over-engineered pack with a blacked-out, minimal and stealthy aesthetic.

The SHADOW is available in 22 liter and 26 liter sizes.

Will be a great gift for my nephew

"I have been watching this backpack for a long time. I bought 26L version for my nephew (it was on sale) who lives in another country. The backpack is great in terms of its capacity, material (sturdy but flexible) and design. (Actually, I watched every review video way before I bought it). By the way, I bought a Citadel R3 18L and hoping to get it soon. Usually, I do my research well before buying any product, and Black Ember checks most features I want in a backpack."

"I ABSOLUTELY LOVE this bag. Solid construction and built for my every day carry needs. Traveling for the weekend ? Not a problem. Pack it up and go. Off to the office for a presentation ?
